HANOVER, N.H. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team split a pair of matches while the women's team dropped two in their season-opening showing at Dartmouth last weekend. The Polar Bear men bounced Hamilton 9-0 before falling to seventh-ranked Dartmouth 9-0. The women's squad fell to 15th-ranked Hamilton 8-1 prior to dropping to eighth-ranked Dartmouth 9-0.
The Bowdoin men are ranked 15th nationally while the women stand 21st in the latest poll.
In the men's sweep over Hamilton, Andrew Bernard, William Fantini and Stephan Danyluk all took 3-0 wins at the top three positions for Bowdoin. Lauren Gesswein was able to take Bowdoin's lone point on the women's side last weekend, earning a win at #1 against Hamilton.
