HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity freshman Katherine Poulos pitched 12 total innings and allowed just a single unearned run while recording two wins to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-1, 4-3 doubleheader sweep against the visiting Bowdoin College Polar Bears in NESCAC East Division softball action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in the division, taking the weekend's three-game series, 2-1. Bowdoin falls to 12-7 overall and 1-2 in the division.

Trinity sophomore 1B Nicole Nardella roped a two-run homer to left-center field to tie the score at 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning, and the game remained that way for the next four frames.
