AUBURNDALE, Fla. - The Bowdoin College baseball team completed a
sweep of UMass-Dartmouth on Wednesday. The Polar Bears took a 8-3
victory in game one before blanking the Corsairs in game two,
8-0.
A pair of outstanding pitching performances sparked the wins, as
Ben Higgins tossed a six innings in game one, allowing three earned
runs while striking out seven. Pat Driscoll earned the win in game
two, going seven innings and permitting just five hits and striking
out seven in the victory.
Catcher Reid Auger stretched his hitting streak to 13 games with
four hits on the day with three coming in the nightcap, including a
home run. Kevin Zikaras also had four hits on the day.
