Bowdoin College

Nathan Alsobrook has helped elevate Bowdoin Nordic skiing to unprecedented success on the regional and national stages, with the Polar Bears becoming a consistent presence at the NCAA Championships during his tenure. Under his leadership, Bowdoin has produced multiple NCAA qualifiers and All-America performances, including Emma Crum becoming the program’s first multi-time All-American, while establishing the Polar Bears among the top Nordic programs in the East.





At Bowdoin

• Has served as head coach of the Nordic skiing program since 2007.
• Has helped dozens of Polar Bears qualify for the NCAA Championships, including the program’s first two All-Americans.
• Was named the 2018 New England Nordic Skiing Association Coach of the Year and the 2020 Eastern Intercollegiate Skiing Association Coach of the Year
