KJ Krasco

KJ Krasco was named as an assistant coach for the Bowdoinwomen's basketball program in the summer of 2011.

Krasco brings a wealth of experience to one of the nation's topDivision III programs, having served as a head coach at ClarksonUniversity from 2007-2010, improving the program in each of herthree seasons. Most recently an assistant coach at MerrimackCollege, she also served as an assistant for two years at St.Lawrence University, where she was part of the Liberty LeagueCoaching Staff of the Year that led the Saints to an NCAATournament appearance in 2007.

As a player at Colby-Sawyer, Krasco was a First-TeamAll-Commonwealth Coast Conference player and 1,000-point scorer forthe Chargers from 2002-05. She was named the New Hampshire DivisionIII Player of the Year in 2004-05 as Colby-Sawyer won theCommonwealth Coast Conference title and reached the NCAATournament.

Krasco joins a program that has been one of the best in DivisionIII over the past decade. Bowdoin has reached the NCAA Tournamentin each of the past 11 seasons, and won at least one game in thetournament in each of those years; the longest such streak inDivision III basketball. The Polar Bears return a load of talentfrom last year's squad that reached the Sweet Sixteen of thetourney and finished with a record of24-6.
