Joe Clark enters his third season as assistant coach of widereceivers at Bowdoin. Clark is a 2007 graduate of Trinity (Conn.)and comes to the Polar Bears after coaching stints at his almamater and at Norwich University.
An All-NESCAC performer at wide receiver while playing for theBantams, Clark was a part of three conference championship squads.After graduation, he served in a variety of roles for the Trinitycoaching staff, tutoring the running backs, outside linebackers andspecial teams in his tenure. After a 14-2 mark over two seasons inHartford, he moved to Norwich where he coached the wide receivers,running backs and special teams for the Cadets from 2010-2012,helping the team amass a 15-5 mark, the 2011 ECFC Championship anda bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Clark owns a Master of Arts in Public Administration fromNorwich University. A native of Agawam, Massachusetts, he and hiswife Abbe and daughter Posey live in Brunswick.
