Bowdoin College

A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Hurtz was signed to a professional contract at the age of 16 and enjoyed a seven-year playing career for St. Johnstone, including winning the Scottish Cup in 2014. He was also a member of the Scotland International under-21 team during his playing career, and joined Bowdoin as an assistant coach for goaltenders in the fall of 2021.
