Before Bowdoin: Graduated from Voorhees in 2009... was named captain her senior year... was name Team MVP her senior year... received Coaches’ Award her junior and senior years... received NJSIAA New Jersey State Scholar-Athlete Award her senior year... also played soccer...was a member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society... was the Teen Honorary Chair and Spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey... received the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award... Grandfather, Ray Petterson ’53, was a member of baseball and football teams.
