Bowdoin College

Lynn Ruddy, a senior member of the Bowdoin coaching staff and an Associate Director of Athletics for Facilities, rejoined the track & field program in 2001. Coach Ruddy serves as the team's high jump and hurdles coach.

Throughout her 40-plus year career at Bowdoin , she has coached several All-Americans and All-New England athletes in swimming, cross-country, and track & field and was also a long-time volleyball coach for the Polar Bears, where she was the program's first-ever coach and accumulated over 200 victories. She also served as softball coach from 1985-87 and, from 1997-2001, was the indoor championship liaison on the NCAA Division III Track & Field Committee.

Ruddy is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh and a native of Wisconsin and proudly holds the lowest 'certified' golf handicap of anyone on the Bowdoin Athletics staff.
