Trevar is currently the lead assistant, Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator with the Polar Bears. In his first full season at Bowdoin in 2022, the Polar Bears ranked #7 in the country and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8. Trevars coached the Bowdoin offense to a record-breaking season, beating nearly every offensive statistical record in program history.
In his seven-year coaching career,  he has coached 20 All-Americans, four of which were first-team All-Americans. Trevar has coached his teams to three NCAA tournaments, including two NCAA Elite 8’s. He has been part of a coaching staff that was awarded NESCAC Coaches of the Year for three seasons, has been a finalist as a Division III Assistant Coach of the Year three separate times, and has been part of a coaching staff winning NEILA Coaches of the Year on three occasions. Trevar has been selected to coach in both the NEILA and USILA Senior All-Star games.
In his time as a player, Trevar was an all-conference midfielder and attackman at Division III Nazareth College, scoring over 100 points in his career. Trevar reached the NCAA tournament twice in his time with the Flyers and won an Empire 8 Conference Title in 2013.
As the First Assistant, Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator at Bates College, Trevar coached the Bobcats to multiple record-setting seasons. During his time there, Bates qualified for and hosted their first NCAA tournament game in 2015 and won the regular season NESCAC conference title in 2017. In Bates’ program best season, the Bobcats qualified for the 2017 NCAA Elite 8.
In 2019, Trevar went to Binghamton University to coach with the Division I Bearcats. During his time at Binghamton, Trevar was the Offensive Coordinator and Lead Assistant. Trevar coached the American East Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2019.
