Men's Lacrosse Pulls Away From Hamilton

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team rolled past Hamilton, 17-9, on Saturday afternoon at Steuben Field. The Polar Bears move to 2-0 (2-0 NESCAC) while the Continentals fall to 0-3 (0-2 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin came out quickly, scoring the first three goals of the game and owned a 4-1 lead after one quarter, only to see Hamilton rally to deadlock the score at 5-5 midway through the second.
  • The Polar Bears used a 3-1 surge before halftime, including two scores from Chris Berry, to take a 7-5 lead at the break.
  • After Hamilton closed the gap to 8-7 early in the third, Bowdoin took command of the game with a six-goal run, featuring four goals from Casey Ryan that make it 14-7 by the end of the frame.
