Men's Tennis Wins Marathon Match at Redlands

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Bowdoin men's tennis team earned a hard-fought 4-3 win at Redlands on Wednesday night in California in a match that came down to the number one singles court. Bowdoin improves to 5-1 this spring with the win.
 
Match Highlights
  • The Polar Bears had to rally after losing the doubles point, with the duo of Simon Catanzaro/Kiran Garapati picking up the lone win with a 6-4 victory.
  • Needing four singles wins, Bowdoin got straight-set wins from Jackson Codd (6-1, 6-2), Cameron Zia (6-3, 7-6), and Catanzaro (6-1, 6-1).
  • With the match tied at 3-3, and the number one singles court remaining, Mark Kneiss battled for a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 comeback win to give Bowdoin the victory.
