Women's Lacrosse Falls Late at Williams

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Williams College women's lacrosse team scored the final three goals of the game to pull away for a 9-6 win over Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon. The Ephs improve to 3-1 (2-1 NESCAC) while the Polar Bears fall to 1-3 (0-3 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Grace Schorr scored twice in the first half and Miya Imaeda found the back of the net 2:44 before halftime as the Polar Bears owned a 5-4 lead at halftime.
  • Williams scored twice in the third quarter to take the lead for the first time, 6-5 entering the fourth quarter.
  • Schorr found the back of the net again with 12:29 to go for Bowdoin, deadlocking the contest at six apiece.
  • The Ephs replied with three goals in the final 8:36 to take the win.

  • Schorr finished with a hat trick and added two caused turnovers for the Polar Bears.
  • Grace Harvey had a goal and an assist to go with five draw controls while Ellie Fabbro had three caused turnovers and three draw controls.
  • Hannah Rubin had five saves and Alexa Genua stopped six shots, splitting time in goal for Bowdoin.
