AMHERST, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men's basketball team suffered an 81-44 setback at the hands of Amherst on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops Bowdoin to 13-7 (3-3 NESCAC) on the season.
 
Game Highlights

• Three-pointers from Ben Chilson and Ray Cuevas led Bowdoin to an early 11-5 lead, but Amherst answered with a 17-2 run to take the lead for good.
• The Mammoths carried a 34-23 into halftime and shot 61% from the field in the second half to pull away.

• Amherst shot 46% from the field and held Bowdoin to 27% for the game.
• Ray Cuevas scored 12 points while Mason Dawkins finished with 11.
• Alex Halpern led the team with nine rebounds.
