GORHAM, Maine – The Bowdoin College volleyball team made quick work of the University of Southern Maine on Wednesday evening, picking up a 3-0 road win.
 
Bowdoin improves to 3-2 on the season while USM drops to 1-6.
 
Match Highlights

• Bowdoin won by set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-12.
• The closest set of the night was the opener, as the Polar Bears rallied from an early deficit and saw the score tied at 19 apiece late. Bowdoin closed the set on a 6-2 run, sparked by a pair of kills from Mina Mittler to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Polar Bears never trailed in the final two sets, jumping out to big leads and cruising to their 16^th straight win over the Huskies.

• Alison Smith led Bowdoin with eight kills while Skye LaMendola and Mina Mittler had seven each.
• Zoe Ryu had six service aces to lead the Polar Bears, who had 12 overall.
• Cameron Shelly (17 assists) and Anna Yeh (16 assists) split setting duties while Kelsey Kim had a team-best ten digs.
