The Bowdoin women's tennis team is returning to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019 following an outstanding season that saw them post a 15-5 record and rank among the top ten in the nation throughout most of the spring. The Polar Bears are making their 17
th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first under head coach
Ben Lamanna, who was named the NESCAC Coach of the Year in awards this week. The Polar Bears had five players earn All-NESCAC recognition, as
Suzanne Pogorelec was named First Team Singles and
Jamilah Karah was named Second Team Singles. Karah, Isabella Hartung,
Zoe Sun, and
Caroline Stuhlfaut were all recognized as Second Team Doubles selections. Bowdoin has faced Nichols (W, 7-0) and Tufts (W, 5-2) already this season.
