Early Offensive Output Pushes Mules Past Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin baseball team suffered a series-opening setback against Colby in a 10-4 final on Friday night.
 
The Polar Bears are 20-8 (6-4 NESCAC), as the Mules climb to 15-9 (3-3 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin got on the board early with two runs in the first inning. With runners on second and third, Liam Foley knocked a single to right center and cleared the bases.
  • Colby took the lead in the second with a five-run inning off only two base hits.
  • The Mules added RBI singles in the fifth and sixth innings.
  • Colby made it 10-2 with three runs in the seventh.
  • Bowdoin climbed back with a ninth-inning rally that produced two runs, including another Foley RBI single.
