Women's Tennis Clears Kenyon 5-2 in Midwest Matchup

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bowdoin women's tennis team knocked off #22 ranked Kenyon 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears are ranked 15th nationally with a 6-3 record. Kenyon sits at 8-5.
 
Match Highlights
  • Bowdoin swept doubles to earn the point. Jamilah Karah and Caroline Stuhlfaut finished off #1 with a 6-3 win. Zoe Sun and Bella Hartung went 6-2 at #2. Julia Ross and Candice Ballarin cruised 6-1 at #3.
  • Bowdoin won three through six singles. Karah was the first match to finish with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at #3.
  • Ross posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at #4.
  • Sun (6-2, 7-5) and Hartung (7-6, 6-2) finished off the match at #6 and #5.
