Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Bowdoin women's tennis team split its weekend schedule with a 6-1 win over Southwestern on Saturday and a tight 4-3 setback to Trinity (Texas) on Sunday.
 
The Polar Bears are 5-2 on the season.
 
Southwestern Match Highlights

• Bowdoin swept doubles action as Jamilah Karah and Caroline Stuhlfaut posted a 6-3 win at #1, while Marie Frati and Phoebe Thorne did the same at #3. Candice Ballarin and Bella Hartung wont 6-2 at #2.
• Frati won a quick 6-2, 6-1 decision at #6 singles.
• Julia Ross posted a 6-4, 6-0 at #3.
• Stuhlfaut (6-0, 7-5), Zoe Sun (6-4, 7-6), and Ballarin (6-1, 7-6) earned extended two-set wins at #2, #4, and #5.

 
Trinity Match Highlights

• Bowdoin won a doubles match (Sun and Hartung, 6-2 at #2), but could not earn the point with losses at #1 and #3.
• Ross won 6-0, 6-3 at #2 to put the Polar Bears on the board.
• Jamilah Karah tied the match at 2-2 with a straight-set victory (6-3, 6-3) at #3.
• Trinity regained and extended its lead at #5 and #6 before Stuhlfaut battled to a three-set win at #2 (6-7, 6-4, 6-0).
