Women's Tennis Splits Saturday and Sunday Matches

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Bowdoin women's tennis team split its weekend schedule with a 6-1 win over Southwestern on Saturday and a tight 4-3 setback to Trinity (Texas) on Sunday.
 
The Polar Bears are 5-2 on the season.

  • Bowdoin won a doubles match (Sun and Hartung, 6-2 at #2), but could not earn the point with losses at #1 and #3.
  • Ross won 6-0, 6-3 at #2 to put the Polar Bears on the board.
  • Jamilah Karah tied the match at 2-2 with a straight-set victory (6-3, 6-3) at #3.
  • Trinity regained and extended its lead at #5 and #6 before Stuhlfaut battled to a three-set win at #2 (6-7, 6-4, 6-0).
