Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin women's tennis team split their weekend NESCAC slate with a 5-2 setback to Wesleyan and 7-0 sweep at Trinity.
 
The Polar Bears are 3-1 on the season with a 2-1 record in NESCAC play.
 
Wesleyan Match Highlights

• Bowdoin fell behind 1-0 after the Cardinals swept doubles play.
• Julia Ross earned a point for Bowdoin at #4 with a 7-5,6-3 win.
• Zoe Sun cruised in the six spot with a 6-2, 6-2 finish.
• Both Jamilah Karah and Bella Hartung fell after tie-breakers.

 
Trinity Match Highlights

• Bowdoin cruised in doubles, picking up wins at one through three, to earn the point. Caroline Stuhlfaut and Karah won 6-2 at the top spot. Suzanne Pogorelec and Sun did not drop a game. Hartung and Ross went 6-1 at #3.
• All six singles matches were won in straight sets.
• Pogorelec , Ross, and Sun all earned 6-1, 6-0 wins at #1, #3, and #4.
• Stuhlfaut earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at #2, while Marie Frati went 6-3, 6-4 at #6.
• Candice Ballarin won at #5 with a 6-0, 6-3 final.
