Men's Hockey Breaks Deadlock To Top Tufts 3-2

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's hockey team scored midway through the third period to conclude their 2025 NESCAC calendar with a 3-2 win over host Tufts.

The Polar Bears are 6-1-1 with a 4-0-1 NESCAC record. The Jumbos slip to 4-4-1 (2-4-0 NESCAC).

Game Highlights
  • The Jumbos scored midway through the first period to take a 1-0 lead. Dennis Davidson cleaned up a rebound on the left post and tucked the puck in near side.
  • Bowdoin answered quickly to even the score. Pierre Larocque fired a shot from the right point and Bryce Bollman got a stick on the puck as it flew past, deflecting the shot past Tufts' goalie.
  • In the final minute of the period, Bowdoin won a faceoff on the right dot and Jayson Alegria carried through the center before backhanding a shot on goal.
  • Colby Dobek tied the game with nine minutes remaining in the second period, going end-to-end before beating Jacob Osborne over the shoulder.
  • Jackson Holl solved Tufts at 13:11 off a helper from Jayson Alegria.
