Box Score MIDDLEBURY, VT. – The Bowdoin women's soccer team stunned 9
th-ranked Middlebury 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in Vermont.
The Polar Bears climb to 6-3-0 and 2-3-0 in conference play. The Panthers suffered the first loss of the season at 7-1-2 (3-1-2 NESCAC).
Game Highlights
- Kayley Huleatt put Bowdoin up 1-0 in the 18th minute. Huleatt launched a bending free kick that buried in the upper-right corner.
- Jackie Shores doubled the lead in the 68th minute. The ball came into the box from deep in Middlebury territory and deflected off a defender.
- Middlebury broke through ten minutes later. Stella Espinasse set up Roshann Prucell for a header as she charged into the box.
