Men's Soccer Collects 1-0 Win At Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, VT. -  The Bowdoin men's soccer team scored late in the first half and held on to hand Middlebury a 1-0 loss on Saturday.
 
The Polar Bears climb to 5-2-1 (2-2-2 NESCAC). The Panthers sit at 3-3-2 (1-3-2 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Despite Middlebury holding a statistical advantage in the first half, Bowdoin entered halftime with a 1-0 lead.
  • Keito Ishibashi controlled the ball along the right sideline and launched a ball toward net. Donovan Sinicropi waited inside the box and helped the ball through directly in front of the goalie.
  • Middlebury amped up the offensive pressure in the second half and fired off nine shots and put five on net.
