BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's tennis team hosted the Polar Bear Invitational from Friday through Sunday on Pickard Courts.
Middlebury, Brandeis, Tufts, and Babson came to Brunswick for the event.
Weekend Highlights
- Bowdoin faced Brandeis in singles play and Babson in doubles play to begin the invitational. The Polar Bears nearly swept the Judges with the only dropped match coming in a tie-breaker. Bowdoin posted similar success against Babson in doubles.
- Caroline Stuhlfaut nearly had an undefeated singles weekend going 6-1, 7-6 against Brandeis, 2-6, 6-4, 11-9 against Tufts, and 7-6 (5), 6-4 against Middlebury. The #4 only dropped her match against Babson.
- Zoe Sun teamed up with Bella Hartung to win two out of three matchups. The duo cruised past Babson 6-3 and topped Tufts 7-6 (9).
