Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's basketball team came up just short in a 72-68 loss to Connecticut College. The Polar Bears fall to 9-6 (0-2 NESCAC) while the Camels improve to 9-7 (1-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights

• The Polar Bears came out of the gate quickly, jumping to a 16-7 lead out of the gate following a three-pointer from Alex Halpern.
• Bowdoin pushed the lead to as many as 13 points in the opening half, 32-19, but the Camels closed the period on a 16-2 run to take a 35-34 edge at the break.
• The teams battled in the second half, trading the lead three times until midway through the frame when the Polar Bears held a 52-49 lead following a Ben Chilson three-pointer.
• Conn College responded with a 13-3 run to take a seven point lead with nine minutes to go.
• Bowdoin got as close as three points in the closing minutes, but could not get back to level as the Camels hung on to the victory.

• Ray Cuevas led Bowdoin with 21 points while Afamdi Achufusi scored 13 with six assists and five rebounds.
• Conn College shot 47% for the game while the Polar Bears ended at 38%.
• Bowdoin connected on 15 three-pointers but were only awarded four free throws in the game compared to 8-11 for Camels, who hit ten three-pointers in the victory.
