Women's Tennis Competes at Home In Regional ITA's

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin's Pickard Tennis Courts and surrounding facilities played host to the 2024 New England Women's Division III ITA Regional.
 
The Polar Bears competed in singles and doubles draws against the top regional competition over the span of three days.
 
Match Highlights
  • In the singles A draw, Jamilah Karah, Caroline Stuhlfaut, and Isabella Hartung all advanced to the round of 16 before being eliminated.
  • The Polar Bears made deeper runs in the B draw. Zoe Sun advanced to the semifinals with a quarterfinal 6-3, 6-4 win over Tufts before falling to a Brandeis player in a semifinal tiebreaker.
  • Candice Ballarin made the quarterfinals after beating a Colby player 6-1, 6-0 in the round of 16.
  • Stuhlfaut and Julia Ross advanced to the round of 16 in doubles play after defeating a pair from Brandeis 8-1.
