MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin softball team saw its season come to an end with a 10-2 loss to Williams in the conference semifinals.
The Polar Bears conclude the season with a 24-16 record, bowing out to the third-seeded Ephs who advance with a 22-11 record.
Game Highlights
- The Ephs took a 2-0 lead in the third and added two more runs in the fourth.
- Williams put up five runs in the top of the fifth inning to open up a 9-0 lead.
- Bowdoin extended the game in the bottom half of the inning as Chloe Garcia singled to center to drive in both Anika Ewert and Penelope Fong-Picariello.
- An error in the seventh allowed for one more Williams run.
By the Numbers
- Ewert went 3-for-4 in the leadoff spot and Kyla Gary followed up, going 2-for-3. Both outfielders recorded a stolen base.

Kathleen Hester, and
Maddie Current all pitched. Current recorded three strikeouts and Hester had one. Halliday pitched a pair of scoreless innings with three hits allowed.
