AMHERST, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team won two of three matches in a busy home weekend of action at Maine Pines. The fourth-ranked Polar Bears (11-4) beat Hamilton, 6-3, defeated 21^st-ranked MIT, 6-3, and lost 5-4 to 19^th-ranked Amherst.
 
Weekend Highlights

• Trailing after doubles play against Hamilton, Bowdoin rallied in singles play thanks to straight-set wins from Andrew Mendelson, Jack Flores, Aden Dorros, and Jackson Codd to rally for the win.
• Against MIT on Saturday afternoon, Bowdoin claimed the lead in doubles as Tristan Bradley/Reid Staples and Ethan Bradley/Pieter Breuker captured wins. Singles points from the Bradleys, Mendelson and Mick Tamas clinched it for the Polar Bears.
• Breuker and Ethan Bradley won 8-6 at number two doubles against Amherst, but Bowdoin couldn't rally in singles play despite wins from Tristan Bradley, Reid Staples, and Tamas.
