Men's Tennis Opens Campaign With Pair of Shutouts

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The fourth-ranked Bowdoin College men's tennis team opened its spring season with a pair of impressive 9-0 sweeps against Babson and Connecticut College on Saturday at Maine Pines Tennis Center.
 
Babson Highlights Connecticut College Highlights
  • Bowdoin easily handled the top two doubles matches courtesy of Aden Dorros and Mick Tamas (8-4) and Mark Kneiss/Andrew Mendelson (8-1).
  • Jack Flores and Jackson Codd went deep into their number three doubles match before coming away with an 8-6 victory to give the Polar Bears a commanding 3-0 edge heading to singles.
  • In singles play, Bowdoin didn't lose a single set, posting six straight-set wins courtesy of Mendelson, Flores, Tamas, Dorros, Codd, and Sujan Garapati to cap the 9-0 win.
