REDLANDS, Calif. – The Bowdoin College women's tennis team closed out its California trip with a pair of close losses to NAIA Point Loma, 5-2, and tenth-ranked Redlands, 6-3, to return east with an overall record of 4-4 this spring.
 
Match Highlights

• Against Point Loma, the Polar Bears were able to claim a pair of singles wins despite the team loss. Elizabeth Yu earned a 6-1, 6-4 win at #3 singles and Caroline Stuhlfaut claimed a 6-4, 6-4 win at #6.
• Stuhlfaut and Hannah Buckhout earned an 8-6 doubles point against the Redlands in the final match of the trip and then Stuhlfaut earned another singles point with a three-set victory (6-2, 2-6, 7-6). Cara Hung accounted for the other singles win for the Polar Bears with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at #2 singles.
