BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team has earned hosting rights for a NCAA Division III First/Second Round regional this weekend at Morrell Gymnasium.
The NESCAC Champion Polar Bears (25-2) will host Western New England University (22-5) in the opening round on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The early first round game Friday will feature UMass Dartmouth (23-4) and New Jersey City University (19-8) at 4:00 p.m. Saturday's second round game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. NCAA-mandated minimum ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children. Bowdoin student tickets will be free with ID.

A perennial NCAA Tournament participant, Bowdoin will be making its 21
st tournament appearance, the 14
th most all-time in Division III history, but its first since the shortened 2020 championship. The Polar Bears are 43-19 all-time in tournament play. Last weekend,
Bowdoin won its record 10th NESCAC Championship with a 66-56 win over Bates.
