BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Williams College volleyball team rallied from a one-set deficit to defeat Bowdoin 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at Morrell Gymnasium. The Ephs improve to 10-6 (3-4 NESCAC) while the Polar Bears fall to 8-7 (1-5 NESCAC).
 
Match Highlights

• The Ephs took the match by scores of 18-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-19.
• After Bowdoin took the first set in convincing fashion, the final three sets were extremely tight down the stretch.
• Williams won the final three points to take the second set after fending off set point, 27-25.
• The third set was tied at 20-20 and Bowdoin trailed 20-19 late in the fourth before late Williams runs took the final two sets to clinch the victory.

By The Numbers

• Skye LaMendola scored 14 kills to go with 12 digs for Bowdoin while Alison Smith (10 kills) and Mina Mittler (10 kills) also saw double digits.
• Mary John had six blocks to lead the Bowdoin defense while Maya White had 21 digs.
• Cameron Shelly had three aces, 11 digs and 25 assists for the Polar Bears while Paige Butler had 25 assists as well.
