BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin men's soccer sophomore Felipe Rueda Duran earned the NESCAC Player of the Week after an explosive opening to the season.
 
Rueda Duran erupted for five goals and four assists in a 3-0 opening week for the Polar Bears. After scoring the most goals in a game (4) by a Polar Bear since 1989 against the University of New England in the season-opener, Rueda Duran delivered the assist on the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Bates. To cap the week, the sophomore scored another goal and added two more assists in a victory over Husson.
 
The Polar Bears are 3-0-0 to begin the season and return to conference action on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. when Connecticut College comes to Brunswick.
