Hung and Karah Named ITA Division III Doubles All-Americans

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College women's tennis players Cara Hung (Arcadia, Calif.) and Jamilah Karah (Berkeley, Calif.) have been named Division III Women's Tennis Doubles All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Hung and Karah, Bowdoin's number one doubles team this season, were also recognized as First Team All-NESCAC Doubles earlier this spring.

Winners of the ITA New England Doubles Championship last fall, Hung and Karah enjoyed a fantastic spring, playing at number one doubles all season for the Polar Bears. The pair went 9-7 in doubles matches for Bowdoin. Karah played exclusively at number one singles this spring, going 7-8 against the top players in the nation.

The All-American honors for Hung and Karah are the first for the Polar Bears since 2017.
