BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Amherst College men's basketball team outlasted Bowdoin in the season finale for both teams on Saturday afternoon at Morrell Gymnasium, prevailing in a 56-39 defensive struggle. The Mammoths end the season 10-14 (4-6 NESCAC) while the Polar Bears end the year 10-14 (2-8 NESCAC).

• The Mammoths took a 24-14 lead after holding Bowdoin to 19% shooting in the first half.
• Amherst maintained their lead throughout the second half as Bowdoin could get no closer than 12 points.
