Football Places Five on All-NESCAC Team, Most Since 2008

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College football team placed five members on the All-New England Small College Athletic Conference Team released by the league on Tuesday.
 
Receiver Colton Fahey (North Andover, Mass.), tight end Brendan King (Norwell, Mass.) and defensive lineman Koy Price (Norwalk, Conn.) were named First Team All-Conference while offensive lineman Tal Brill (Marietta, Ga.) and linebacker Max Jacobs (Portland, Ore.) were named Second Team All-NESCAC. The five recipients is the most for the program since 2008.
 
Fahey concludes his career as Bowdoin's all-time leading receiver after finishing with 48 catches for 919 yards, the second-most in a single season in program history. He ends his career with 121 catches for a school-record 2,138 yards.
 
King established new single-season and career records for Bowdoin tight ends this fall, catching 49 balls for 603 yards and a school-record 10 touchdown receptions. His 87 career receptions, 1,149 yards and 12 career touchdowns are all career marks for Polar Bear tight ends.
 
Koy Price enjoyed a fantastic season all over the defense for the Polar Bears, earning 30 total tackles in seven games, making 12.0 tackles for a loss, a team-best 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. It is the second All-NESCAC honor of Price's career.
 
Max Jacobs earned his first postseason honor after leading the Polar Bears in tackles (59.0) and tackles for loss (12.5) this fall. He also had 4.5 sacks and two pass breakups.
 
Tal Brill anchored the line on the league's third-ranked offense this fall. He surrendered no sacks and only one tackle for loss as the Polar Bears averaged 391.9 yards per game and led the conference in average time of possession with 33:19 per contest.
 
The Polar Bears finished their season with a record of 4-5, winning the CBB championship for the first time since 2010.
