Football Concludes Season With Loss to Trinity

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College football team closed out its season with a 58-21 loss to Trinity College on Saturday afternoon at Whittier Field. The Polar Bears conclude their season with a record of 4-5 while Trinity ends at 8-1.
 
Game Highlights
  • After the Polar Bears jumped to an early lead, the Bantams offense took command, scoring 41 first half points en route to the win.
  • Spencer Fetter threw for 378 yards for Trinity, highlighted by 241 yards receiving by Sean Clapp.
  • Bowdoin's Robbie Long threw for 169 yards and rushed for another 32 yards.
  • In his final career game, Bowdoin's Brendan King caught nine passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns, increasing his single-season school record to ten touchdown receptions this fall.
  • Andre Eden rushed for 24 yards and ends his career with 2,143 yards to stand sixth all-time at Bowdoin
  • Colton Fahey caught three passes for 70 yards, ending his career with 121 receptions (third all-time at Bowdoin) and 2,138 yards (first all-time at Bowdoin).
