ORLANDO, Fla. – Bowdoin's
Tristan Bradley advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday, winning his first round match before falling in the afternoon to close out his 2021-22 campaign.
With the first-round win, reaching the round of 16, Bradley cements ITA Division III All-American status for the season.
Bradley was outstanding in his first round win over Tarm Rojanasoonthon of Carleton on Friday morning, burying nine aces en route to a 7-6 (3), 6-3 victory. In the afternoon, Bradley battled well against the tournament's third seed, fending off a second set tiebreaker but eventually dropping to James Hopper of Case Western Reserve, by a score of 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-3.
Bradley, who earned First Team All-NESCAC earlier this month, was making his first appearance at the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championship and is Bowdoin's 15
th singles All-American player in program history.
