Men's Basketball Can't Rally, Suffer Road Loss at Colby

Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's basketball team couldn't overcome a halftime deficit in a 78-65 loss to Colby on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears drop to 10-8 (1-4 NESCAC) with the setback while the Mules improve to 9-8 (1-3 NESCAC).

Game Highlights
  • In a well-played first half, the Mules were able to carry a 41-34 edge into the break thanks to hot shooting from beyond the arc.

  • The Mules jumped out on a 13-4 run to open the second half, extending their lead to 18 points with 16 minutes to go.
  • That lead proved too large for Bowdoin to overcome, as the Polar Bears drew within five points but could get no closer.
