Field Hockey Shuts Out Wesleyan in NESCAC Victory

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Faith Jennings and Bailey Prete each scored a pair of goals in the Bowdoin field hockey team's 4-0 win at Wesleyan.
 
The Polar Bears improve to 4-2 (2-2 NESCAC). The Cardinals drop to 2-4 (0-4 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Jennings scored the game's first goal at 11:50. Jennings lifted the ball over the goalie after Kylie Nelson-Marois made a diving play and lay on the turf.
  • Bowdoin scored just 46 seconds into the third quarter. Prete tallied the goal off a direct shot corner by Georgie Coetzer.
  • With three minutes remaining the frame, Jennings tallied her second of the game.
  • In the final second of the third, Prete made it 4-0 for the Polar Bears.
