Brendan McClintick Named Assistant Coach for Bowdoin Squash Teams

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Brendan McClintick as assistant coach for the men's and women's squash teams. McClintick joins coach Theo Woodward at the helm of the program, replacing former Polar Bear Ian Squiers '19, who stepped down from the position at the conclusion of last year.

A graduate of Connecticut College, McClintick played squash for four years and captained the team his junior and senior seasons. During his senior year, he also coached youth from neighboring towns and has spent summers coaching with U.S. Squash Hall of Famer Mark Talbott. More recently, McClintick was the Squash Director at Capitol Squash, a SEA member program run at Trinity College in Hartford, for five years. A US Squash level 2 certified coach, he graduated from Conn College with a BA in Behavioral Neuroscience.
