Bowdoin Featured as "15 Colleges that Shaped Women's Rugby"

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's rugby team has been featured as "15 Colleges that Shaped Women's Rugby" by the U.S. Women's Rugby Foundation.

The Polar Bears come in a number eight in the article and are the lone Division III school on the list as the USWRF cites that "the Polar Bears were the first college to take the leap to varsity (2003) and NCAA/NIRA status." and recognizes head coach MaryBeth Mathews' role in the growth of the game on the collegiate level.
