BRUNSWICK, Maine – On the heels of a fantastic NESCAC Championship performance,
Jaida Hodge-Adams has been named the conference player of the week as the Bowdoin College volleyball team has learned its seeding for the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship that will begin on Friday.
The Polar Bears (22-4), who claimed the NESCAC Championship with a win over Wesleyan on Sunday, will head to Cambridge, Mass., for a regional at MIT where they will play Johnson & Wales (20-9) in the opening round Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The complete bracket is available at

NESCAC Player of the Week
Jaida Hodge-Adams was outstanding as Bowdoin won its fourth conference title and second in the last three seasons. She averaged 3.25 kills and 4.5 digs per set while also totaling eight blocks. In a five-set semifinal win against No. 5 Amherst, she racked up 19 kills and followed it up with 14 kills in the championship against No. 2 Wesleyan. She finished the tournament with 46.5 total points.
