BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's soccer team was honored with three All-NESCAC selections in conference awards announced on Thursday.
Lynn Farquhar (Bethesda, Md.) was recognized as a First Team All-NESCAC choice while
Tess Huckaby (Brighton, Mass.) and
Julia Adelmann (Natick, Mass.) were chosen as Second Team honorees.
Lynn Farquhar gets a promotion to the NESCAC's First Team following a Second Team selection in 2019 at midfield for the Polar Bears. A steadying presence on both ends of the field for the Polar Bears, Farquhar finished second on the team in scoring, with six goals and four assists this fall.
Julia Adelmann was one of the top offensive players in the conference this season and collected her first NESCAC postseason award as a result. She led Bowdoin in scoring and ranked among the top ten in the conference in goals (seven), assists (five) and points (19).
Tess Huckaby was outstanding on Bowdoin's back line, helping the Polar Bears to a 1.36 team goals against average this season. Additionally, Huckaby pitched in a goal and two assists offensively on the season to grab her first-ever NESCAC postseason honor.
