BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's soccer team has been recognized with three honorees in the New England Small College Athletic Conference Awards handed out on Thursday.

Dylan Reid (Bethesda, Md.) and Drake Byrd (Simpsonville, S.C.) were both named as First Team All-NESCAC selections while Julian Juantorena (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was selected for the Second Team.

A first team selection in 2018, Byrd earned the honor again this fall following a fantastic senior campaign. He led Bowdoin with five goals and seven assists on the season, and ended his career with 15 goals, 11 assists and 41 points.

Dylan Reid earns his first NESCAC postseason honor after another excellent season anchoring the Bowdoin back line. Reid helped the Polar Bears post a team goals against average of 0.75 this season, and he also posted a goal and two assists on the year.

Julian Juantorena enjoyed a breakout season in the midfield for Bowdoin to collect his first NESCAC award; a Second Team All-Conference nod. Juantorena was outstanding on both ends of the field for Bowdoin, leading the team in minutes played and finishing with a goal and two assists.
