MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's soccer team concluded the 2021 season with a 3-0 loss to Tufts in the NESCAC quarterfinals on Saturday.
The Polar Bears end the year at 9-5-2 after securing the #6 seed for the NESCAC playoffs. Tufts continues to the semifinals with an 11-1-3 mark.
Game Highlights
- Tufts scored under four minutes into the game off the foot of Travis Van Brewer.
- The Jumbos added their second goal of the half in the 38th minute. Woovin Shin took a corner kick and found Ian Daly for the 2-0 lead.
- Bowdoin took eight shots in the second half, but was unable to find the back of the net.
- Tufts added a third and final goal in the 78th minute.
