Game Highlights
- Middlebury took a 1-0 lead 7:09 into action. Katie Hargrave disrupted a Bowdoin play from defender to defender in the zone. The tangle allowed Sidney Portner to collect the loose puck and skate directly on Dani Marquez. Portner went bar-down for the game's first.
- Hargrave notched an assist on the team's second goal six minutes later. Again, Hargrave broke up a Bowdoin play and found Jenna Letterie in the neutral zone for a breakaway. Letterie skated one-on-goal and slotted the puck top shelf.
- Marquez kept the Polar Bears within striking distance with multiple big saves in the second. The Panthers broke out for a shorthanded opportunity midway through the second, but Marquez slid across the crease and made a pad save on Letterie's shot to the far side.
- Middlebury iced the game with an empty-netter with 1:16 to play in the game. Alexis Ryan collected a loose puck behind the Panther net and banked a pass off the right side boards to Letterie. Just outside her team's own blue line, Letterie sent the puck down ice and into Bowdoin's net.
