Train's Career High Derails Husson in Women's Hoops Victory

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Moira Train scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Bowdoin College women's basketball team to a 91-50 victory over Husson on Tuesday evening at Morrell Gymnasium.

The win improves the second-ranked Polar Bears to 12-0 this season while the Eagles fall to 4-7 on the year.

  • Bowdoin scored the first eight points of the game and never looked back, extending the lead to double-digits just five minutes into the contest.
  • The Polar Bears led 25-9 after one quarter and dominated the second, holding the Eagles to just one field goal and forcing 11 turnovers as they extended the lead to 50-16 at intermission.
  • Bowdoin led by as many as 45 points in the second half on their way to the win.
