Big Second Half Propels Colby Past Men's Basketball

WATERVILLE, Maine – A big second half lifted the Colby men's basketball team to a 106-62 win over Bowdoin on Sunday afternoon.

The Mules improve to 11-0 while the Polar Bears fall to 4-6. The game was the non-conference contest between the schools. The teams will play the NESCAC game on January 25 in Brunswick.

Game Highlights

  • Bowdoin was able to stay within striking distance in the first half, trailing by ten at intermission thanks to 15 points from Reynolds.
  • Colby took command in the second half, hitting 11 from long distance and shooting 62% from the field as a team to score 67 points en route to the win.

By The Numbers

  • Colby ended at 56% shooting from the field, including 19 three-pointers in the contest.
  • David Reynolds had 20 points to lead Bowdoin while Jack Shea and Sam Grad had 11 points apiece.
  • The Mules were led by 23 points from Alex Dorion.
