BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team closed its first semester with an authoritative 95-35 win over the University of Maine-Farmington on Tuesday evening.
Every player scored for the third-ranked Polar Bears, who improved to 9-0 on the season. The Beavers fall to 3-4 this season with the loss.
Game Highlights
- The Polar Bears scored the first ten points of the game and never looked back, holding UMF to just 21% shooting in the first half.
- Bowdoin owned a 52% field goal percentage in the opening 20 minutes and held a 47-18 edge at the break.

- All 14 active players scored for Bowdoin, who totaled a season-high 95 points, their highest scoring output since a 96-point output against Conn. College in the NESCAC Quarterfinals last February.
- Five players saw double-digits for the Polar Bears, led by 14 from Sela Kay and 13 from Ali Meade.
- Maddie Hasson (12), Anika Helmke (12) and Annie Maher (10) also reached double figures while Dorian Cohen had a team-high nine rebounds and Samantha Roy dished out a team-best nine assists.
- Bowdoin finished at 55% shooting for the contest while holding UMF to 27%.
- The Polar Bears got 52 points from their bench in the victory.
